15 Captain Marvel fan theories you should know before watching

We can officially see Captain Marvel in theaters sooner rather than later, and there’s a lot to do before then, including a review of multiple Carol Danvers-related fan theories.

There’s less than a month before Captain Marvel debuts in theaters. We’re still finalizing the perfect outfit to wear to the premiere and rereading some essential Carol Danvers-related comic book issues. However, we can’t wait to see Carol on the big screen, and it shows because we’re constantly scouring for new fan theories about the upcoming film.

Obviously, we don’t want to intentionally spoil the movie, but we’re super speculative (emphasis on the super), so we can’t help siphon through the hundreds of wild, terrifying, and just plain fun Captain Marvel fan theories. After all, we look forward to how comic book movies integrate our favorite characters into a broader cinematic universe. Like any comic fan, we can’t help but sleuth through dozens of relevant Kree, Skrull, and Flerken fan theories. With a growing amount of theories rising from the Starforce ranks, it’s easy to get distracted by the idealistic theories we would love to see in Carol’s debut (but realistically won’t happen, at least not in her first film)

Although we’re still not entirely convinced that Carol isn’t unknowingly a Super-Skrull, we know that it’s realistically unlikely her first titular film will introduce her character by drawing inspiration from Khn’nr run as a different Captain Marvel. While we’re almost positive that Goose is a tendril-hoarding Flerken (just like Chewie), we’re reviewing some of the Captain Marvel fan theories we think are still possible — because we know that you like to be prepared for your latest comic book movies like us.
