Dermalogica Gentle Cream Exfoliant

If you are looking for a good exfoliant without it being too harsh on the skin, then the Dermalogica Gentle Cream Exfoliant is the answer. Not only is this creamy exfoliant good for sloughing off dead skin cells, but it does it in a way that is not abrasive.

What I find especially compelling about these products, is that they are a great way to brighten your skin, while also improving texture and getting rid of the surface debris we think we have gotten rid of with our every day cleansers.

Not only does this get rid of the dead skin, but it then helps invigorate the cells to help stimulate your skin’s renewing properties. And because of the addition of things like aloe and lavender, even as you exfoliate your skin, it remains soothed and even less sensitive than it could be.

While it is highly recommended that you speak to a professional before using this product (head to an Ulta or even contact Dermalogica if needed), following the directions as laid out on the label can be just as beneficial. You will want to apply an even layer of the exfoliant over the face (you can also use it on the upper chest and neck area), and leave this on for 10 minutes. You’ll then use warm water to remove the product.

Although the company suggests one to two times per week using the exfoliant, I usually only do this once every two weeks at most. Even though this product is gentle, it is still exfoliating all the dead skin cells and I try to limit how often I use a sloughing product.
