When you’re close to one of the biggest unsolved cases in American history, people can get a little mysterious and that is what seems to be happening on this week’s I Am the Night. Fauna Hodel is closer than ever to knowing of her past and that means that George Hodel isn’t exactly too thrilled about having his illegitimate daughter snooping around his past.

Luckily for Fauna, she has people in her life that want to protect her and help her find out the truth to what is going on. That means that there are even more people on George’s radar for him to look out for. I Am the Night continues to give us twists and turns about a story that still baffles many of us today.

It is believed that George Hodel murdered Elizabeth Short (the Black Dahlia) and other women back in the early days of Hollywood. Women would come to Hodel asking for him to perform abortions and other procedures. Though nothing is known for certain, I Am the Night gives us a unique look at the very real story of Fauna Hodel and her possible connection to these murders.

Also, it doesn’t hurt that we get to look at Chris Pine as Jay Singletary each week giving one of his best performances to date! The trailer for this week promises to be just as amazing as the first three as we see Fauna, Jay, and all the people in Fauna’s life trying to figure out her past.
