The First Order has cut off ties with the pirates, putting Synara in a difficult situation. How will she escape as they hunt down a pirate spy? Here’s how to watch the next episode of Star Wars Resistance.

Things don’t end on a good note between the pirates and the First Order in last week’s episode, “The Doza Dilemma.” After all, the First Order doesn’t play nice with others, so their business relationship with the pirates was bound to fall apart sooner or later. Kragan and his gang were simply a means to an end.

The thing is this leaves Synara in an awkward position. With the First Order one step closer to occupying the Colossus, it’s going to be difficult for her to rejoin the pirates. Then again, does she even want to go back to the pirates? She’s made a life for herself on the platform as a salvager, so it’d be a shame to see her leave and go back to a life of pillaging and plundering.

According to the official synopsis of “The First Order Occupation”:

"Kaz scrambles to help Synara escape the platform as the First Order sends a contingent of stormtroopers to hunt a spy."

Luckily for Synara, Kaz is willing to help. Is it because he has a crush on her? That’s most likely the case, but Kaz is also someone who cares and sees the good in others. Chances are he sees some good in her and is willing to risk his own life in order to give her the opportunity to survive someplace else.

Speaking of Kaz and Synara, it’s quite clear Kaz finds her attractive. In the last episode, he straightened his jacket and smelled himself in order to look presentable in front of her. Will he come out with the truth in this upcoming episode and admit how he feels about her? How would she respond to a confession of that nature?

To be honest, Synara hasn’t given away any clues or signals, so she might not even feel or see Kaz the same way. It wasn’t until “Synara’s Score” when she learned what it was like to have a real friend, so the idea of liking someone and finding them attractive might be foreign to her. That said, she could surprise us (and Kaz) by showing an affectionate side.

Regardless of their feelings toward each other, Synara has no choice but to leave the Colossus. The First Order is determined to find a pirate spy in order to follow through with this “heroic” image they’ve concocted for themselves. Will she or the First Order discover more about Kaz’s own spy mission in the process? Kaz is walking a fine line by butting his nose into Synara’s business, so we’ll have to wait and see if Kaz manages to keep his secret hidden.
