Project Runway All Stars season 7 episode 5 live stream: Watch online

Project Runway All Stars is getting a little wild this week. Will this wild night out have the designers howling at the moon?

Are the animals loose on Project Runway All Stars this week? This episode has the designers drawing some inspiration from the wild. Will these looks be too animalistic for the real world?

According to Lifetime, this week’s episode synopsis states:

"The all-winners season continues with high fashion inspired by zoo animals for a wild night out. Peyton List and Joan Smalls guest judge."

A couple of items are curious about this synopsis. First, it will be curious to see if all the designers must choose different zoo animals. Hopefully, the runway won’t be filled with just leopard, zebra, or cheetah prints.

While animal prints could be an obvious choice, other zoo animals could be quite more interesting. For example, birds, like the peacock, could make for bold choices on the runway. Still, it is an obvious choice, although it would lead to a more colorful runway.

Less obvious choices could lead to more creativity. Could a designer see the wrinkled, tough skin of an elephant and create a textured look? What if the mangy appearance of a hyena influenced another Sean Kelly fringe look?

Lastly, it appears that this challenge is to create a high fashion look. Some of the designers have struggled with this concept. High fashion leans more toward editorial. If this look is worn on the street, it should cause you to glance again. When a look doesn’t deserve a second glance, it probably has missed the mark.
