It’s clear that sexism in the workplace is becoming a common theme this season for Mariana, and it appears this next episode will tackle exactly that.

Mariana decides to take action against all the misogyny at her new company this week. The promo shows that her company will be interviewed for some sort of press thing and although her coworkers want her to say that everything is fine within the company, she feels like the truth should be told anyway.  Go Mariana!

I’m loving how this story is being treated and how Mariana is the one behind it. Throughout five seasons of The Fosters, we’ve seen her grow into a confident, self-assured, and strong young woman and I think she owes a lot of that to her two moms (it’ll be fun to see when the mom’s get to guest star). The Fosters has always been prominent in supporting women and I’m glad that Good Trouble is following suit.
