Good Trouble preview: Mariana steps up and fights back

In this week’s episode of Good Trouble, Mariana decides to step up and confront the company that is treating her so badly.

Good Trouble has been tackling the theme of sexism in the workplace with Mariana’s storyline. You can read my breakdown of last week’s episode “Allies” to get a good summary of how they’re approaching the issue. And we’re excited to see where the story is going next.

It seems as though the company is being interviewed to find out what’s it like to work there, and Mariana is going to tell them like it is.

"“They want to know what it’s like to work here? I’m going to tell them; and if I get fired then at least someone had the guts to speak up.”"

There’s the feisty Mariana Adams-Foster we all know and love! It’s only fitting that she’s the one telling this story this season. Hopefully, she doesn’t get fired though and her allies at the company will help her out along the way. Especially Evan Speck, because we know that he’s not the monster his secretary made him out to be.

While Mariana tackles problems at work, it seems like she and Callie will face their own issues back at home. As sisters living not only in the same apartment but the same bedroom, the two Adams-Foster girls are going to run into some conflict, and it looks like this episode is the start of it.

Mariana and Callie may be around the same age but the responsibilities and stress level of their jobs are drastically different, and it seems like it’ll get in the way of their relationship.

I look forward to seeing how this will pan out on Tuesday night.
