Veronica and Logan – Veronica Mars
What you need to know: This particular love story has a bit of a rocky start. Logan is a bit of a nemesis to our teenage sleuth, Veronica, and we now know this kind of behavior is a symptom of a very toxic type of masculinity. While Logan is busy dipping Veronica’s pigtails in the ink, she’s routinely saving Neptune from certain doom.
Although they both date other folks, off and on, they always found a way back to each other. Thankfully, Logan’s jerk vibes cool to mildly grating, and he becomes Veronica’s Girl Friday for the latter half of the series and the film adaptation.
Why we ‘ship them so hard: I’ll root for Veronica Mars to do anything she want, mostly because she deserves anything she sets her mind to. I was reluctant to root for this paring because Logan was a bit of a fixer-upper. I came around, however, when I realized that he loves Veronica so sweetly. I’m never one to advocate for picking a project to date, but if anybody can whip a man into shape, it’s definitely Veronica.
Where you can watch it all unfold: One of the greatest disappointments of my life is that Veronica Mars (the series) is not available for free streaming on Hulu or Netflix. You can buy episodes on Amazon and iTunes, but none on our trusty paid streaming services.
