Crazy Ex-Girlfriend may be coming to an end but there are still a lot of relationships that have to come to an end. Last week, Rebecca and Greg finally worked through their issues and decided to give a real adult relationship a try.
So what does that mean for Nathaniel? Sure, Josh is still in the picture but hey, at least, has his Instagram relationship to keep him going. Nathaniel only has his attempt at being a nicer person to keep him going now that he knows that Rebecca is with Greg.
Hopefully, it doesn’t mean that Nathaniel is going to strive to be with Rebecca again. For so many years, we’ve watched as she has been the middle of many love triangles, seeing her finally happy would be a wonderful thing.
That being said, having everyone happy and fulfilled in their lives as the series is ending is also important. Even with people like Nathaniel, who have taken quite some time to grow as characters. It’s just that, throughout the series, Nathaniel has been the one to give into Rebecca the most (out of her love interests). The same could be said about Paula but Rebecca wasn’t in as deep as she was with Nathaniel with her.
In fact, after Rebecca told him that she needed space the first time, he should have taken a step back from their relationship anyway. Instead, he’s still been trying to win her back and it is time that Nathaniel moves on from Rebecca and continues to work on himself.
