Riverdale spent a good bit of its midseason premiere lining us up for what will come to pass on this week’s episode, “Chapter Forty-Five: The Stranger.” Here’s everything you need to know about the Riverdale live stream and how to watch online.

The short trailer offers a few exciting match-ups. Fred threatens Hiram, Hermione colludes with F.P., and Betty takes on Alice over the Farm and some missing money. Veronica cries alone and Archie is nowhere to be found.

We catch a flash of a bleeding Hiram, but I know Riverdale well enough to know this could mean anything. I’m absolutely not falling for the “Fred murders Hiram” red herring, but I am intrigued who will be the one to take down the Man in Black.

Have we decided if we believe Hiram is the Gargoyle King? Because tonight’s episode might confirm it, as Jughead gets closer to unmasking him. It’s unclear how much longer they can pump this G&G storyline for fuel for the season, but I’m hoping its coming to its natural end.

I have a feeling they’re going to work in the Farm into this whole business, and that will only force us wade to through more complicated storylines. I’m okay with Jug being the hero, but can we just get on with it already?
