When it comes to ranking the Marvel villains, there are any number of ways to do it, from the most successful to most evil. But what about their potential dateability?

When it comes to complex characters, the Marvel Cinematic Universe has plenty to offer us. The characters are powerful, flawed, and for many of them, truly dateable. However, while you might think I am talking about the heroes of the MCU, in reality, I’m looking at the villains for who would make an excellent romantic partner.

And sure, that might seem a bit odd considering they are the bad guys (and gals), but they need love too. In fact, we bet that if they had a bit more love in their lives, they might not have turned to villainy for their entertainment needs.

Really, while you might not immediately think of a Marvel villain as being the ultimate boyfriend or girlfriend, it may surprise you to realize that some of the things that make them the perfect bad guy/girl also makes them perfectly dateable. From their little quirks (like wanting to take over the universe), to their desire to get their hands on precious jewels (we’re looking at you, Thanos), there are plenty of reasons why we wouldn’t mind dating these villains.

With this ranking of the most dateable bad guys and girls of the MCU, maybe you’ll find a new fictional boyfriend or girlfriend to appreciate and obsess over. I know I have (or at least I’ve definitely added to my list).
