Young Justice: Outsiders episodes 7-9: How to watch online

Last week we saw the team cope with different types of loss. While they just started to learn the extent of their powers, the next three episodes will pose old foes, and potentially some new ones, against them.

We’re still suspicious that the Young Justice: Outsiders titles are a cryptic code for this season’s big bad. Though we’re still looking for hidden messages in the titles and rewatching the episodes for any Easter eggs, this Friday’s episodes reintroduce The Light into the third season, and they have plans to kill an ambiguous member of the team.

Courtesy of Warner Bros., we have the synopsis for episodes 7-9:

Episode 7, “Evolution,” starts this weeks’ scheduled viewing with a one-word title:

"Aliens once again threaten the Earth, but with the Justice League split and scattered, only Earth’s first and greatest hero can save us!"

Continuing a streak of one-word titles, episode 8, “Triptych,” could reveal some critical secrets and context into the meta-human trafficking operation (seeing as a triptych is a piece of art that tells an overarching story in three parts):

"As Meta-Human trafficking spreads across the United States, three very different teams of heroes seek to put a stop to it!"

Episode 9, “Home Fires,” obviously invokes an old enemy, with the new threat of an assassin:

"The Light has hired an intergalactic assassin, but who is the intended target?!"

The title of episode 9 could also signify turmoil within the team since they operate as a family. Regardless, the assassin is one of the more pressing matters. While we’re aren’t sure who The Light commissioned to kill, we think Halo could be the hit. Given her inexplicable knowledge of New Genesis, The Light might know her before she initially lost her members. Granted, it’s going to be more than difficult for the assassin to take her down, seeing as she has the aura ability of resurrection.
