Storms usually don’t offer good news for Grey Sloan’s slew of doctors. Find out what awaits Meredith Grey and Co. for the midseason premiere of Grey’s Anatomy.
When a storm is headed for Grey Sloan Memorial, it usually doesn’t bring anything but drama, tension, and often deadly situations. Just look back to season 9’s “Perfect Storm” in which Meredith had to undergo a C-section amidst a storm that caused power outages. She may not be pregnant this time, but Meredith along with one of her new love interests, Andrew, are stuck in an elevator as a massive storm hits Seattle.
And the trapped-in-an-elevator scenario plays out a few times. Meredith has one very important case to get to. Her patient and adorable matchmaker, Cece, is ready for transplant surgery and Meredith is on her way to it. What she and Andrew don’t know is Bailey and Phoebe are stuck in a different elevator… with Cece.
Teddy, Owen, and Amelia are also stuck in an elevator. Owen just learned that Teddy is carrying his child while they were together in surgery, but before they can really touch on that, Amelia pops on in. She declares she wants to become Betty’s foster mom, and sounds super excited about it… but that’s going to fade real fast.
