Get the look: Calvin Klein belted dress

In April, Meghan Markle joined Prince Harry for the 25th Anniversary Memorial Service for Stephen Lawrence. The dress she chose was a very simple fit and flare sheath dress in black and white. This dress featured a belt at the wait and was sleeveless with a V-neck.

While this dress from Hugo Boss is sold out and even a similar style from the designer is out of stock as well, according to Elle, there are plenty of comparable options out there. Although we liked the simple patterned design of this dress, for our budget find, we chose a simple black sheath dress.

Much like the original dress worn by the duchess, the one we found from Calvin Klein features a V-neck and no sleeves. There is also a thin belt at the waist, and the dress has just the right amount of flair to give this dress a bit of a relaxed vibe. The Calvin Klein dress is also just a bit shorter than the one the duchess wore, coming in just at the bottom of the knee. (So while it is still midi length, it is definitely a bit shorter than Markle’s Hugo Boss).

This dress also comes in a solid blue. So whether you choose the black or the blue version of this simple dress, we think you could have some fun with your heels. While Meghan Markle chose nude heels to pair with her sheath dress, we think you could go with a bold-colored heel depending on the occasion. And considering how simple and chic this look is on the whole, we think you could take this from work to a night out.
