During a visit to Birmingham, England for an educational event, Meghan Markle matched Prince Harry in navy. The royal couple donned navy coats that made them a dashing duo as they greeted onlookers and interacted with the many children in attendance.
And of course, much of our focus is on what the future Duchess of Sussex was wearing. From her chic, black heels to her J.Crew coat, Meghan was simple elegance. We loved the fact that she showed off her ankles and shoes by wearing tailored trousers that ended at the ankle, and her coat was its own fashion statement.
Sadly, the navy coat she wore sold out within a matter of days of her wearing it (which we are not surprised by considering it was actually quite affordable). However, we have found some other options that will still give you royal vibes.
The Lapels wool coat in navy from Mango is a great alternative to the J.Crew coat that the duchess opted for on her outing. And while it does not have the same two-tone effect of the original, we think you’ll love this as an elegant and dressy winter option. For the pants, we chose a slim-fit pant from H&M that gives you the same clean lines as the trousers that the duchess chose, but for a fraction of the price.
And while we did not choose a pair of heels for this look, we think you could easily choose black, navy, cream, or even a pop of color and still make this look classy and royal.
