Throughout 2018, Meghan Markle proved that not only is she a rising style icon, but she has no problem re-wearing certain pieces, such as her Outland black skinny jeans, which she has worn on multiple occasions. And then there is the burgundy peplum wrap top from Scanlan Theodore that she paired the jeans with while watching the gold medal match in wheelchair basketball at the Invictus Games.

Overall, this was a stylish look that looks to be perfect for a day on the town, heading into a more casual day at work, and so much more. Although we have previously recommended Old Navy jeans for copying the duchess’ look, this time around we went with another pair of jeans from Express that is under $80. These skinny jeans are not only more budget-friendly than the pair worn by the Duchess of Sussex, but these also come in a wide range sizes, which we love.

For the peplum wrap top, we did love the burgundy color that Meghan wore. However, we chose a white option that is very budget friendly as well. The ASOS top we chose still features the long sleeves, the deep V-neck thanks to the wrap effect, and of course the peplum hem.

We love this look, and think it would look great with heels, just like the duchess wore or even with a ballet flat. Basically, this is a versatile look that we think you’ll really love, especially if you want a dressed up casual style.
