We know that Greg is back, that Rebecca told him the truth, and that there are a lot of changes in her life, but what is going to happen on Crazy Ex-Girlfriend?
Crazy Ex-Girlfriend has been gone for its winter break, and we’ve missed the antics of Rebecca and her friends. The last we saw of her, Rebecca was dealing with Greg coming back to town and what that meant for her relationships and her own stability.
She began working on herself after what had happened with Greg back in season 2 and has gone through quite a lot since he went to business school. From the last episode, though, it seems as if these two are right back to where they started with flirting with each other.
That doesn’t necessarily make it a great thing, since Greg’s father and Rebecca have a past together. Luckily for Greg and Rebecca’s relationship, she opened up to him about what happened so that they didn’t have anything hidden between them.
That doesn’t mean Greg wanted to know that he and his father both slept with the same woman, but at least it showed that Rebecca is changing who she is. Old Rebecca would have never told Greg what happened, instead hiding it from him until he inevitably found out and got angry with her.
The new Rebecca is very open about her past and what happened and is trying to grow from everything she went through. And that, unfortunately, means that she had to tell Greg that he and his dad are connected in not the best way.
What is going to happen with Greg and Rebecca throughout the rest of the season? Will she be back in a triangle with Greg and Nathaniel? What about her new feelings for Josh Chan again? There’s a lot going on for Rebecca and we’ll have to see where it all takes her.
