Project Runway All Stars season 7 episode 2 live stream: Watch online
Project Runway All Stars has the designers going to the head of the class. Will these designs be sophisticated or too juvenile?
Project Runway All Stars will hopefully be a little more festive than the season 7 premiere. While many fans were excited to see favorite previous seasons winners return, some of last week’s designs lacked the drama that people expect. Could this week’s new episode amp up the designs?
According to Lifetime, Project Runway All Stars‘ “Top of the Class” features the following synopsis. “Project Runway winners worldwide design sophisticated graduation party outfits; actress Sofia Carson joins the judges.”
This synopsis doesn’t really say anything about this week’s challenge. A graduation party outfit could be almost anything. Can the designers find a way to bring some innovation, inspiration or just something new to these designs? Since graduations often happen in the spring/summer, the colors should at least be bold. If someone makes a little black dress, that designer needs to be axed.
With this competition just starting, no one is really standing out from the crowd. While last week’s win by Dmitry was nice, it didn’t have a huge wow factor. The biggest intrigue came when fans went to JCPenney.com to buy the outfit and found out that the partnership had been dissolved.
Did someone forget to edit that part from the competition? Isn’t it a big deal that fans can’t buy the winning look online? The answer to this fashion drama is more exciting than half of the designers’ looks.
Additionally, no one was eliminated in last week’s episode. Instead, two more designers, Sean and Michelle were added. Truthfully, both Anya’s and Anthony’s looks should have gotten them eliminated. Maybe this week will be a double elimination.
