19. Men in Black International

Tessa Thompson and Chris Hemsworth star. Need I say more? Following their instant chemistry in Thor: Ragnarok, the two stars are reuniting in an all-new Men in Black reboot for more space-alien crime-fighting adventures. Anyone else hoping that Tessa Thompson space-tasers him again? Yes? No? Come on, that was so great.

Coming June 14, the new Men in Black movie will be set in the same universe with a new cast. It’s been six years since Men In Black III was released to mediocre reviews, which still beat Men In Black II‘s total flop. With a new cast and new director Gary Gray, though, this movie could be an injection of fresh energy to the franchise.

According to Hemsworth’s Instagram, the movie will certainly live up to its name, taking place in locations from Morocco to New York City. Based on Hemsworth’s photo, it appears the classic look of the MIB films remains intact, with he and Thompson rocking the classic suits with some stylish alien laser guns at the ready.

It’s too early to guess any details about the plot, but the basics will likely remain the same: it’s likely to be a fun and funny sci-fi romp, hopefully with lots of cool aliens thrown in. It would be great if this new MIB movie utilized practical effects as well as CGI, as the previous movies in the franchise have done; the continuity would make the latest installment feel instantly like a part of the series, and practical effects just tend to look cooler anyway.

In the end, no matter the plot or the effects, we get Chris Hemsworth and Tessa Thompson both rocking classy suits, and what more could you ask for from a cinema experience?
