Clearly, we all love How the Grinch Stole Christmas! because there are multiple versions of the same story. If it isn’t the original cartoon, it is the Jim Carrey live-action version or, most recently, the new cartoon with Benedict Cumberbatch as the Grinch himself.

So, who wouldn’t want to watch a movie about the Grinch at Christmastime? The Grinch lives in the mountains of Whoville, hating the Christmas loving town and wanting to destroy their holiday. When he steals all their presents, he meets Cindy-Lou Who, who is also questioning her love of the holiday.

But together, the two end up saving Christmas and, by the end, the Grinch’s heart grows three sizes bigger because of the warmth and kindness the Whos of Whoville show him, even though he tried to ruin their holiday. It is a wonderful story and one that children know and love, so why not sit down with your family and sing along to any of the versions?

The animated one is the first though and is, arguably, the best of the three. Ultimately, it’s become an iconic cartoon to watch every year with our families and friends.
