In honor of the Queen’s 92nd birthday, members of the royal family attended an all-star concert in April. And while Meghan Markle was not yet an official member of the family at the time, she was there alongside Prince Harry.
To celebrate with the Queen, Markle donned a lovely Stella McCartney cape dress in a navy blue, according to the Daily Mail. The dress featured a midi hemline with a cape that truly covered the shoulders of the dress (as the cape covered the upper part of her arms nearly to her elbow) and ended at the hem of the dress.
The then-soon-to-be Duchess of Sussex paired the dress with matching navy heels from Manolo Blahnik, while also adding in a lovely “Armory Zodiac” clutch from Naeem Khan. While her outfit was certainly very monotone, the Duchess gave her outfit the pop it needed thanks to her clutch, which was a golden shade that worked well with the navy of her dress and shoes.
We also love how Markle wore her hair up in an elegant bun that featured loose tendrils at the front. Overall, it was an elegant look fit for a Queen’s birthday party (which is exactly what it was).
