Gabriela Hearst cap sleeve dress

During her meeting with the Prime Minister of New Zealand, Meghan Markle wore a simple yet elegant black dress by Gabriela Hearst. And even though the dress might be simple, it is definitely a statement piece. The delicate cap sleeves even add a touch of flair to the dress which looked lovely on the Duchess.

And the heels that she paired with the dress were a lovely pair of sandals by Stuart Weitzman that showed off her perfectly painted toes as well. In this look that was estimated to cost $4,186, the duchess was the picture of elegance and beauty, even as the look was relatively simple.

Adding to the look, the duchess even put on a poppy pin, which you will see pop up a few more times on the list. (If you are unfamiliar with why the poppy is important, it is a symbol of remembrance for fallen war veterans across the Commonwealth.)

From wearing her hair down with a simple necklace and clutch, Meghan Markle made a statement in this dress. And maybe it is just us, but we really think there is a hint of the baby bump on display as well.
