Green striped cotton dress
Stripes and green were definitely an important part of the Duchess of Sussex’s wardrobe for her royal tour. And this particular olive-green and cream striped cotton dress is especially relevant for the tour as it was created by Martin Grant, an Australian designer who the duchess is said to be a fan of.
There is something cute and flirty about this dress thanks to the bow at the waist and the very bell-like skirt that flairs out past her hips. And to tie the entire look together, Meghan Markle chose a pair of matching suede pumps from Manolo Blahnik.
And while the dress and pumps are not nearly as expensive as some of her other tour outfits, the addition of her Prada clutch certainly bumps the cost of this look up to $4,231. The dress alone is $1,595!
We really love the striped look, as the skirt of the dress seems to feature slanted stripes rather than the more traditional horizontal or vertical stripe effect at the top. It actually adds a fullness to the skirt to accentuate the flair. And the stripes even work to hide the baby bump we know is there.
