Beachy Reformation dress

On the very first day of their first royal trip, Kensington Palace made the announcement about the duchess’ pregnancy. Of course, this led to many of us watching every single thing she did and wore on the royal trip. And one of our favorite looks came early on in the tour, while in Australia.

This beachy look caused a bit of a stir thanks to how much of her leg was uncovered, especially as she was technically on-duty as a working royal. But we admit that this more casual look definitely worked for Meghan. She looked happy and comfortable, and honestly, we wanted to snag this look for our own closets. In fact, it seems that this particular dress sold out within 24 hours of her being photographed in the dress, although we would not be surprised if it was once again available given how popular it was.

And thanks to Elle magazine‘s rankings of the duchess’ tour wardrobe by cost, we know this dress from Reformation is actually quite attainable at $218. (Well, attainable in the realm of this look was worn by a new royal and we don’t have slam down a few gold bars to get it!)

If you’re willing to treat yourself a little for a royal look, it’s nice to know some Markle’s hottest pieces don’t cost an arm and a leg.
