Blue cape dress
And speaking of stunning blue dresses, the blue cape dress that the duchess wore to a state dinner while in Fiji is pure perfection. On top of really showing off her baby bump, this full-length gown is simple and unique all in one go.
The attached cape adds an added layer of interest to this otherwise very plain gown by Safiyaa. We love how the cape seems to even be a bit longer than the dress itself for a train-like effect. And although most pictures of the dress hide her shoes, the duchess even paired the look with blue heels, although they were a navy blue rather than this bright sky blue.
The Duchess of Sussex even went simple with her accessories, opting to wear what looked to be a simple tennis bracelet on one wrist, and a pair of diamond earrings.
Overall, this state dinner look is one that is simple and classy, with very elegant touches. From the cape to the understated jewelry, this outfit is one that stands out based on sheer simplicity alone. Of course, it does help that we get to see the baby bump on full display, which is something we haven’t seen a lot of even now.
