Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s Christmas card shows a new photo from their wedding while Prince William and Kate’s is all about family.
It’s a year of many firsts for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle and that includes starting their Christmas traditions. The royal couple released their first Christmas card and there’s something particularly special about it.
The image used for the card shows the two at their private wedding reception at Frogmore House watching a dazzling spectacle of fireworks. The never-before-seen wedding photo offers a glimpse of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle as newlyweds, arms wrapped around each other.
Kensington Palace released a statement in connection with the card that reads:
"The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are delighted to share a new photograph from their Wedding Reception at Frogmore House on 19th May."

Prince William and Kate Middleton’s Christmas card is a family affair, showing the couple of seven years with their three children: Prince George who is five, Princess Charlotte who is three, and 8-month-old Prince Louis.

It’s definitely been a big year for both royal couples.
Meghan and Harry wed in May and announced in October that they are expecting their first child. Kate Middleton and William had an exciting year as well when they welcomed their newest child Prince Louis in April. On top of all that, Harry and Meghan have also made the announcement that they will leave Kensington Palace and begin a new life in Windsor Castle’s Frogmore Cottage next year.
