We have a pretty good memory of how most episodes play out, with Lucy finding herself in insane situations and Ethel by her side. The show always has a lot of heart, reminding fans of the importance of having those around you who love you and understand who you are. For Lucy, she always has that in Ricky and Ethel, even when they make fun of her.

We look to them to see what a supportive friend looks like and what being in love with someone can feel like.
