He decides he wants to be Santa Claus and goes about trying to kidnap Santa and having his ghoulish friends make toys for the children and a sleigh and his very own dead reindeer. It is a wonderful movie about realizing that what Jack wanted all along was right in front of him, but it also lets us combine Christmas and Halloween into one movie.

Jack and Sally may not be our typical Christmas couple to look to at the holiday season but they’re wonderful and these songs are still featured in at the holidays! (Especially “What’s This?”) So watch as Jack Skellington struggles to find himself and, in the meantime, discovers that he loves Christmas time just as much as the rest of us do.
