Is it really the holidays if you don’t watch at least one movie about a big bad corporation trying to ruin a family business? We say the answer to that question is no. While Christmas in the Smokies isn’t a classic like It’s a Wonderful Life or anything like that, it does have some amazing holiday romance tropes in it that we just can’t get enough of.

This movie is another romance. Netflix really has a lot of romances set during the holiday season to offer you, but it’s not a Netflix special. So, if you desire to go through every sort-of-bad, but especially delightful Christmas romance movie out there, you will definitely have to add this one to your list

There’s also country music and good family feelings. Of course, in the end, the family berry farm gets saved from the big corporation that wants to buy them out, and true love wins in the end.

We all love these movies because we know how they are going to end. They might be a little tropey or funny, but they are comforting when things are stressful. It’s nice to watch a film where we know everything will be tied up in a pretty little bow at the end, just like a holiday present.
