Arrow season 7 episode 8 live stream: Watch online

With Oliver released from prison, the team must take stock of where they stand. Here’s all the information you need on how to watch Arrow this week.
Hallelujah! After enduring months of hell on earth, Oliver Queen is free from Slabside Prison, and Arrow is free from its tedious prison arc.
Okay, it wasn’t all bad. If nothing else, Oliver’s reconciliation and partnership with Talia al Ghul was a blast, injecting the grim proceedings with some sorely needed banter and gifting us with the season’s most exhilarating action sequence so far. Also, last week’s bottle episode provided a stellar showcase for director James Bamford, full of fluid camerawork and subtle lighting, even if it turned out to be more grueling than thrilling.
For the most part, though, it felt like a missed opportunity. Instead of forcing Oliver to form new relationships or taking the time to create a fully fleshed-out world, Arrow isolated its protagonist in a monotonous limbo. Slabside clearly existed as a diversion before the season’s real plot could start, so it was hard to invest in anything that happened there. While Oliver’s growing skepticism of the prison-based justice system has promise, it remains to be seen whether the show follows through on his new mindset.
Tonight’s episode, titled “Unmasked,” should give us a good idea of where season 7 is heading. Below is the official plot synopsis, courtesy of The CW:
"FELICITY MAKES CERTAIN DECISIONS FOR HER FAMILY — Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards) stands by her recent decisions regarding her family. Meanwhile, Diggle (David Ramsey) and Lyla (Audrey Marie Anderson) continue to look into the Dante painting that Curtis (Echo Kellum) found."
Oliver may be out of prison, but it doesn’t look like things will be all sunshine and rainbows for the Queen family. Will the conflict between the married couple stem from the shady alliances Felicity made while trying to free Oliver? Or is the source her decision to send William away? In either case, it’s hard not to imagine Oliver coming across as a hypocrite; if their positions were switched, he would have done everything Felicity did without hesitation.
Perhaps the more pertinent question, though, is whether William will return. With Diaz finally behind bars, there doesn’t seem to be any reason for the kid to remain separated from his parents. But the flash-forwards imply that Oliver and Felicity never came back for him. Either way, a semblance of normalcy would be welcome.
Alexandra La Roche directs from a script by Oscar Balderrama and Beth Schwartz.
