Saturday Night Live season 44 episode 7 live stream: watch online

Saturday Night Live returns this Saturday, Dec. 1 with host Claire Foy. She’ll be joined by musical guest Anderson .Paak.

Things will be getting royally funny this week when Saturday Night Live returns from their Thanksgiving break with host Claire Foy. The English actress is best known as playing Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth in The Crown. Although, she’s likely there this week to promote a movie with a completely different tone, The Girl in the Spider’s Web.

The night’s musical guest is California musician Anderson .Paak, who just released the soulful album Oxnard in November. We can probably expect him to play the two singles he’s released so far, “Tints” and “Who R U?”. If not, we’re definitely down for a surprise performance of his other hits from the album.

Already, SNL’s showed us a preview for what’s in store with Foy — who’s an actress you wouldn’t typically see in a comedic affair. During a promo for the show, Foy met with season 44’s champion Pete Davidson to participate in a little SNL “tradition” (it’s totally not a tradition.) You can watch the hilarious promo in the clip below.

Saturday Night Live fans are probably most looking forward to what the show will tackle in the cold open this week. And let us say, if they don’t open with a sketch about Paul Manafort (who pleaded guilty this week), then we’ll have to assume SNL’s lost its touch. Though, unless another big event happens that night (which, you can’t discount it when it comes to American politics these days), it’s a sure bet they’ll cover it one way or another.

Last season, they did a hilarious bit where Donald Trump straight up showers with Paul Manafort, so we’re sure they can up the ante when it comes to the ridiculousness level this time around.
