The Charmed ones discover some sinister information in regards to Hilltowne.

The next episode of the Charmed reboot will air tonight and the sisters will face a brand new enemy in the form of a spooky shadowy demon. The episode, named “Out of Scythe” will reveal something potentially life-threatening for the sisters — that Mel, Maggie and Macy’s town is a portal to Hell.

This revelation will force the story to become more dangerous and risky as the girls will now have to ensure the inhabitants of Hilltowne and the students of the university are kept safe whilst they continue to vanquish evil. There have already been several murders in their area, and so the sisters’ friends and colleagues might be in danger too. Is the weight of the girls’ destiny and their magical enemies becoming a bit too close to home? Their personal and social lives might be threatened even more if demons and evil spirits continue to get more involved in their lives.

The synopsis released from The CW is below:

"After some unusual seismic activity, Harry (Rupert Evans) informs the sisters that Hilltowne is a portal to hell. With that said, the sisters must band together to fight off a shadowy demon that is trying to obtain a collection of powerful magical artifacts. Meanwhile, Macy (Madeleine Mantock) is given an exciting opportunity at work which comes with unexpected complications. Lastly, Maggie (Sarah Jeffery) has a conflict of conscience over her relationship with Parker (Nick Hargrove). Melonie Diaz also stars."

The episode is sure to be action-packed but it’s likely the girls might also be preoccupied as Macy gets distracted by work and Maggie’s love life becomes difficult. Now that Parker has broken up with Lucy, he might be using this opportunity to chase after Maggie, wanting to become closer to her. This might not be such a good idea considering Maggie is a witch and will be focused on dealing with the portal to Hell and the shadow demon. Can Maggie resist the temptation to get into a relationship with Parker?
