Supergirl season 4 episode 6 live stream: Watch online

The anti-alien movement heats up in another Supergirl episode that looks intense. Read below to see how you can watch “Call to Action.”
There was a lot to like about last week’s Supergirl episode, from the believable friction between James and Lena to J’onn becoming a fedora-wearing private detective. Perhaps the most pleasant surprise of “Parasite Lost,” though, was that it let Kara finally resemble an actual reporter.
Sure, she accidentally wrote a glowing profile of an alien with healing powers without doing the necessary research into his background. (Come on, Kara, past interviews should be the first thing you look up.) But at least she recognized her mistake, and the temptation to flatter Amadei is understandable, considering the fact that she managed to score an interview with him at all was a miracle. Point being: the show continues to be serious about grounding its fantasy in a nuanced view of human (and alien) nature, and it’s great.
If we have one complaint, it’s that Nia didn’t end up doing a whole lot, despite being enlisted by Kara as a partner on the Amadei assignment. Then again, maybe she wouldn’t have approved of J’onn breaking into Amadei’s former girlfriend’s house.
Judging by the synopsis, this week’s episode, titled “Call to Action,” will feature more of Kara’s journalism work. You can read the description below, courtesy of The CW:
"Everyone gathers for Thanksgiving but Kara (Melissa Benoist) is feeling down after her televised debate with Ben Lockwood (Sam Witwer) about the anti-alien sentiment coursing through National City. Meanwhile, James (Mehcad Brooks) and Lena (Katie McGrath) argue about the best way to handle the Children of Liberty."
A Thanksgiving-themed episode that features a contentious political debate sounds perfect, and we’re already cringing. Again, what makes this season of Supergirl so good (knock on wood) is its ability to understand Ben Lockwood’s beliefs without granting them legitimacy. So, we look forward to seeing him and Kara face off and feeling disturbed by the real-world parallels.
“Call to Action” looks unsettling on multiple levels, as the Children of Liberty take to the streets. And, based on the trailer, they have more in mind than peaceful protest. The images of them in identical masks are downright dystopian, like something from the Purge movies.
Antonio Negret directs from a script by Gabriel Llanas and Daniel Beatty.
