These words spoken by Meredith Grey in a preview for tonight’s mideason finale could very well relate to the massive storm coming towards Seattle. Or something else far more dramatic. Since we just learned last week that Catherine Avery is dealing with one nasty spinal tumor, Mer’s words could be her attempt to sum up how serious the situation is.
There’s also the sticky situation of Richard Webber being arrested for swinging a bat around a bar, but we have to say, we feel for him and why he did it. A bar that encourages sober people to drink again is just plain sick. Still, per ABC’s synopsis for tonight, it seems Meredith is trying to get Richard back on track following this outburst.
"Seattle is hit by a huge wind storm and Grey Sloan becomes inundated with patients. Alex and Jo are stuck at home and decide to make the best of it by having a second honeymoon, while Meredith confronts Richard about getting his life back on track."
As for other drama headed for the hospital amidst the storm, including an “impalement-palooza,” we may finally see Teddy reveal her pregnancy news to Owen. If she does break the news to him, will he forgive her for keeping it a secret this long? Or will he end what he has with Amelia to tend to his unborn child?
As for Meredith’s own love situation, while we’d really hope for a season of Grey‘s to go by where someone isn’t forced into her arms, it looks like Andrew is being forced into her arms. Do you hear our heavy, tired sighs?
