American Horror Story: Apocalypse finale is here, and the world will burn

The season finale of American Horror Story: Apocalypse, “Apocalypse Then” is almost here, and the world is going to burn.

It’s already the season finale of American Horror Story: Apocalypse, and we can’t believe it. This season went by fast, and there are still a lot of unanswered questions.

We have still yet to see how Michael Langdon brings the apocalypse to pass, and we don’t know how or if the witches will be able to stop him or reverse its effects.

The preview trailer for the episode can be watched here:

In the trailer, we see Cordelia sum up the season pretty well when she says, “This is a battle between good and evil.” Most likely, there will be a final showdown of some kind in this episode, and we will see who wins the day in the end.

One big question has been how Cordelia and the witches will go about saving the world from the apocalypse since we already saw the apocalypse happen in the first few episodes of the show. Will there be time travel involved to negate that future? In the trailer, Cordelia’s dialogue gives a possible hint. She says, “In order to save the world, we will have to watch it burn.”

This could mean that Cordelia and the others know what’s going to happen and know that they can’t avoid it or fix it before it does. A resolution that involves changing the events of the future would make sense with everything that has been set up this season. Alternately, maybe the apocalypse will still happen, but Langdon will be defeated in the end and humanity will be able to survive.

American Horror Story often likes to throw in surprises or reveals at the last minute, so we wouldn’t be surprised if there are a few things that take us off guard in this season finale.
