Rebecca has a lot to still learn on Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, and she’s going to deal with her friends growing and more on this week’s episode!
What’s Rebecca going to do about all her friends on Crazy Ex-Girlfriend? Last week, we saw as Rebecca came to the realization that Nathaniel and her might not be a perfect match.
The two have been off and on but when Nathaniel tries to use Rebecca’s little brother, Tucker, to get back in her good graces, it ends up being a problem for her. So, at the end of the episode, she tells him that she knows about his feelings towards her and that she can’t be with him.
So where does that leave them? Hopefully broken up. But this week’s episode forces Rebecca to finally recognize that her friends don’t necessarily need her. Heather and Hector are married, Valencia has Beth, and Paula is working on a relationship with both of her boys.
There is still the ever looming knowledge that Greg Serrano is still coming back to West Covina. Skylar Astin was cast as a new Greg coming back from business school but we don’t know when or for how long. Maybe he’ll come back and sweep Rebecca off her feet once more. Or maybe she’ll finally realize that she can be by herself without any of these men.
It was promising seeing Rebecca telling Nathaniel “no” again. For so long, she’d base her entire ambitions and life around the men in her life without ever seeing any results so to see Rebecca moving on without them is an amazing change.
She still has a lot to learn and with the rest of the season, maybe we’ll see that change we want to in Rebecca Bunch.
