Sam and Dean reunite with their hunter family in tonight’s episode after one of their own is kidnapped. Will they find the monster responsible?

The new episode of Supernatural, entitled “Nightmare Logic,” will air tonight, and it looks like it’s going to put the Winchesters and their family into the ultimate test of nerve, with potential to be one of the creepier episodes.

As the summary is so short, it definitely doesn’t give anything away, keeping the plot mysterious. The monster could be anything, including something the boys have never ever faced before, which means they may be completely unprepared. The good news is that they are not alone.

The synopsis released from The CW for “Nightmare Logic” is below:

"DARE TO DREAM – After a hunt gone wrong leaves Maggie’s whereabouts unknown, Sam, Dean, Mary and Bobby race to find her, but what they find are their own worst nightmares."

Whilst the synopsis keeps the monster and storyline under wraps, it does reveal the exciting return of Mary and Bobby, the perfect hunter pairing (besides Sam and Dean of course). You would think that having a close support network while on a hunt would help the boys. However, having so many vulnerabilities could hinder them and cloud their judgment.

Whilst Bobby isn’t technically related to the boys, growing close with them through experience rather than through blood, Mary and Bobby are like Sam and Dean’s mom and dad. It therefore might not be the best idea to go hunting with people you care about, as Sam and Dean have discovered over their many years of hunting. A previous guest character, Maggie, is confirmed to be missing, and that could potentially cause Sam or Dean to act recklessly without thinking it through, putting themselves at risk. Sacrificing themselves for others is what they are good at after all!

Let’s hope the Winchesters and their team can find Maggie, and kill the monster that took her, before anyone else gets hurt.
