Mayans M.C. season 1 episode 9 live stream: Watch online
This week on Mayans M.C., EZ and Angel are forced to choose sides.
With just one episode to go before the season finale, Mayans M.C. is raising the stakes for a few fan-favorite characters.
After EZ and Angel were put in handcuffs for driving around town with a dead body in the trunk of their car last week, this week sees the brothers pressured to makes some tough decisions regarding their loyalties to the club and each other.
Lincoln Potter is sticking around which isn’t good news for EZ. The guy has already made a deal with Galindo to control the drug trade across the border and squash the rebel threat but it looks like Potter still has some cards in play this episode. EZ’s deal with the Feds is basically null and void now that Galindo’s cooperating and yet Potter is still interested in the unlucky prospect. Could he have a plan that involves the youngest Reyes?
It seems likely, given that he visits EZ and Angel in prison this week. If Angel didn’t know something was up with his little brother before now, a friendly conversation with Potter and the Feds should change all that. Something tells us Angel won’t take the news that his brother’s been spying on the club for the government well.
While the Reyes family unearths their secrets, Coco is doing some soul-searching of his own.
The guy drowned his mother in a bathtub a few episodes back after his daughter lied and accused the poor woman of beating her. Coco’s is officially off-the-rails this week as the cops close in. Despite EZ and Angel refusing to name names, the police know it was Coco’s car the pair was driving and his mother in the trunk. It doesn’t take a genius to put two-and-two together.
Something tells us Coco won’t be making it out of this season alive.
Here’s FX’s official synopsis for this week’s episode, “Serpiente/Chikchan.”
"The bond of the Reyes blood is fractured, and the Galindo family decides to cut their losses."
Of course, that “fractured bond” could refer to EZ’s discovery that his father Felipe is not the man he thought he was. After finding Felipe’s stash of old photos alluding to his dark past, EZ seemed visibly shaken. Don’t expect the young prospect to take the news that his father once chopped off people’s heads for a living too well.
Speaking of heads on the chopping block, Galindo’s looks to be in a precarious position this week. The cartel boss is weighing his deals with the rebels and the U.S. government and struggling to choose a side. We’re not sure what “cutting their losses” means but it’s safe to say, Galindo’s going to anger someone no matter what team he decides to align with.
