Charmed season 1 episode 3 live stream: Watch online

The Halloween-themed episode airing tonight will bring challenges for all three Charmed sisters as they must vanquish the Harbinger of Hell.

After last week’s episode where it was revealed that the Harbinger of Hell had made its way into the mortal world, tonight our witch sisters will need to sacrifice their Halloween to destroy it and protect innocents. However, the sisters are still in training and the synopsis for tonight’s episode suggests that Mel, Maggie and Macy will be facing even more problems on top of the demon threat.

The synopsis from The CW for this episode is below:

"With the instruction of Harry, the sisters are put through witch lessons, so they are able to properly practice their magic. However, when Macy learns of a mysterious death in her lab from Galvin, she informs her sisters and together, they devise a plan to suss out the demon. Trying to speed the plan along, Mel uses her magic irresponsibly leaving Harry no choice but to constrain her, which creates tension between them. Meanwhile, Maggie continues to struggle at balancing her two worlds – her sorority one and her witch one – especially after she volunteers to throw a Halloween party at her house."

As Macy must discover that someone has been murdered at her workplace, the sisters unite to fight back against the monster. However, it seems that Mel will get a little bit too excited and jump ahead by using her powers “irresponsibly.” Will Mel slip up and reveal her massive secret to mortals? As the synopsis suggests, Whitelighter Harry must constrain Mel to prevent her from being reckless. “Constrain” is an intriguing use of word which could mean Mel might be confined and on lockdown, unable to help her sisters fight the demon, or Mel might have her powers blocked by Harry in order to learn her lesson not to take her abilities for granted.

The youngest sister will also come up against barriers in tonight’s episode as she throws a Halloween party – a surefire way to attract an evil demon. Maggie must persist in trying to find a balance between her social college life and her witch life, whilst keeping her secret. Will she succeed?
