The Good Place sends our friends back to their old haunts–or so it would seem. How will Donkey Doug return? And can Jason make amends?
The Good Place likes to fork with people, and I know I’ve said that before.
I’ve probably said it in every single one of these posts, because it’s true. Just when you think you’re starting to get a grasp on what’s going on, the show will pull the rug out from under you. And we all keep coming back and wanting more.
Before we get any further… In case you missed the official synopsis for this week’s episode:
"Jason visits with some people from his past while Chidi gets help in resolving a problem."
It sounds like Jacksonville, Florida is calling. How far has the swamp city sunk into itself? Our four human friends (and whatever Michael and Janet are) look like they’re about to find out.
I don’t think Donkey Doug is going to be a fan of seeing Jason again. What was the last time they saw each other? Pretty sure Jason and his new dance crew were slashing Donkey Doug’s crew’s tires at that abandoned warehouse.
Yeah, that’s not going to go well.

Chidi trying to resolve a problem? Will that be Eleanor or Simone? Or will Michael and Janet somehow swoop in to alleviate his worries and indecisiveness? Maybe now that the shock has worn off, Janet can brag about all of her knowledge (though it did stop once she and Michael went through the portal to Earth, and that was over a year ago). In fact, maybe what knowledge she does have
