EZ makes a run for it and Emily is faced with a tough decision on this week’s Mayans M.C.

With only two episodes left before the season finale, Mayans M.C. is raising the stakes by putting some of its main players in life-threatening situations.

Last week, Lincoln Potter made his move on the Galindo cartel, putting Miguel back in handcuffs following his tense conversation with Adelita down in Mexico. Now it seems Potter might be leaning on Emily, pressuring her for information about her husband’s illicit dealings in exchange for immunity and the chance to get her son back.

This entire season has seen the young woman grieving over her kidnapped baby and pushed to extremes to get Cristobal back. As loyal, cunning, and ruthless as Emily is, it seems likely that Potter can get her to talk if he dangles her son in front of her. I doubt she’d implicate Galindo directly, but there are plenty of other people she could put at risk.

Speaking of, it seems like EZ’s double life is finally catching up to him. With Potter in play, EZ’s deal with the Feds is null and void, meaning his freedom may be in jeopardy. Prison is scary, sure, but even more terrifying for EZ is the possibility of the club discovering his true motives for patching in. It looks like our hero goes on the run this week while back at Mayan headquarters, his brother Angel, does damage control.

FX’s official synopsis reads:

"EZ’s past continues to haunt him, but present horrors give him a new perspective."

The promo for “Rata/Ch’o” shows EZ and Coco having a loaded moment that might foreshadow more problems for the club. Coco murdered his own mother after his daughter Lettie tricked him into believing the woman was abusing the young girl. Maybe Coco’s finally feeling some guilt, remorse, or plain panic. After all, this is the second body he’s had to dispose of thanks to his troublesome kid.

Could EZ be once again helping the family out?

The guy seems to have a soft spot for lost causes and an inability to suss out a bad situation. Maybe Coco calls EZ for help and the two have to scramble to protect themselves and the club this week.

Either way, Bishop suspects a couple of rats in his crew, and his talk with Angel coupled with an ominous threat at a table meeting don’t bode well for the new prospect. Fingers crossed both EZ and Coco make it out of this episode alive.
