Fans are worried about the fate of two of the most popular Avengers, Captain America and Iron Man. Is one more likely to die than the other?

With Avengers 4 drawing closer each day, we still don’t have an official title or an official trailer. However, many fans are expecting a trailer sometime in November as this would be in line with the promotional materials for Avengers: Infinity War.

Many fans are speculating about one big question: who will die in this film? The number of heroes that died in Infinity War really took most fans off guard and weren’t who we expected. Now, fans are especially worried this time around for Iron Man and Captain America.

We all know that the MCU is introducing a new round of heroes such as Captain Marvel, Spider-Man, and Black Panther, and putting them in a position to carry the MCU forward. Chris Evans’ contract is up, and even though he says his farewell tweet doesn’t confirm or deny anything, the fact is that at least for now he is done with the MCU. Robert Downey Jr. is also not locked into any new contracts, and it seems that the movies going forward will not feature either of these actors.

With multiple people involved in the films confirming that Avengers 4 will be even worse than Infinity War, it would be surprising if no one died. Also, there is comic book precedence for some of these deaths. So, we’ve compiled a few theories on how Cap or Tony could die, discussing which is more likely.
