In tonight’s episode of The Walking Dead, there’s another detour in building the bridge after another disappearance puts the Saviors at odds with the other communities.

On The Walking Dead, if everyone plays nice, then they can all live happily ever after–at least that’s what Rick thinks. He’s been ignoring the Saviors’ Negan-like behavior and Daryl’s complaints that some of the Saviors are just rotten, and because of that Aaron lost an arm.

You would think that Rick would have learned that damaged people are sometimes irreparable after all of the years of meeting people who wanted to kill him.

AMC’s official synopsis for this week’s episode states:

"Rick’s vision for the future is threatened by a mysterious disappearance that divides the work camp where the communities are building a bridge."

Tonight’s episode, “Warning Signs,” will surely be about how the Saviors blame Rick for the disappearances. That single Savior that Rick kicked out for being a jerk will undoubtedly be the very last straw. If you consider that everyone saw the Savior fight Daryl and he was the cause of Aaron’s severed limb, it would be a good theory that Rick enacted revenge on the guy on behalf of his longtime friends. Or maybe the Saviors think that it was Daryl who took vengeance. Either way, the Saviors look like they are ready to fight to find out who has been picking them off one by one.

The Saviors must believe that Rick killed the Savior jerk and that he also is to blame for the other missing people. The Saviors could be fearing for their lives thinking that Rick or one of his associates are going to kill them one by one so that no one is alarmed.

Can they collectively focus on the real problem at hand? We have a bridge to fix, and it looks like no one is going to restore it anytime soon because they’re too busy arguing about their differences and thinking up conspiracy theories. The sad part is that when they find out that Rick doesn’t have anything to do with the disappearances, it will be far too late.
