Supernatural season 14 episode 2 live stream: Watch online

With Dean still missing, the gang is pulling out all of the stops to track him down, whilst Jack continues to struggle adjusting to life as a human.
There was absolutely no trace of the elder Winchester brother last week as Michael continues to wear Dean’s body as a suit. However, Sam and his allies may be close to tracking the archangel down tonight as the spoilers suggest they find a lead to his location.
The synopsis released by The CW for tonight’s episode named “Gods and Monsters” reveals what we can expect tonight.
"Sam (Jared Padalecki) finds a clue to Dean’s (Jensen Ackles) whereabouts, so he, Mary (guest star Samantha Smith) and Bobby (guest star Jim Beaver) set out to investigate. Castiel imparts some sage advice on Jack (Alexander Calvert), who, still desperate to belong, seeks out a familial connection."
This summary implies Sam will have the support of Mary and Bobby as they work on following any trace of Dean. This seems like a pretty indestructible trio so Michael better watch out! Castiel, on the other hand, appears to take the role of comforting Jack in tonight’s episode. This would make sense as Castiel has acted as a father figure for Jack ever since he was born, and even before that.
As Jack has recently been drained of all his angelic powers and now has to learn to live as a human, he may feel himself drawing towards normality by seeking out a real family and home. No longer having a purpose or a specific role has obviously wounded the character and Jack may feel like he no longer belongs in the bunker with the rest of the hunters, with no powers or strengths to help fight Michael.
Will Jack search for a new family or stay in the bunker? The synopsis states that Castiel will provide fatherly advice which will no doubt be consoling for Jack. Castiel has plenty of experience on following the right path, making choices and creating a purpose, having been stripped of power in the past himself and having to live like a human on more than one occasion.
Castiel is also a character who has made his fair share of mistakes so the angel might use this episode to warn Jack not to make any hasty decisions and to stay close to the people around him. With everyone pulling their efforts to find Dean, it seems being together is better than being alone. The bunker feels like a big, dysfunctional family this season; hopefully Jack will find the home he’s searching for here.
