Tonight on The Big Bang Theory, Sheldon tries to assist Amy with a project but may end up sabotaging her career instead.

Last week, Sheldon got a blast from his past when childhood friend Tam appeared. He wasn’t too happy to see Tam, as we learn ultimately that Tam chose not to move to California with Sheldon but instead stay in Texas with his girlfriend, which Sheldon felt was the absolute worst thing to do.

Per usual, Sheldon’s grudges either make no sense or if they slightly do, are ones no other reasonable person would hold for that long. A bittersweet message Sheldon ultimately learns from his best friend is that while Sheldon was pursuing his career, Tam grew up, married, had a son, and is happy. Sheldon’s just about to embark on this adulting journey with Amy, and perhaps, he knows deep down this was something he could have pursued a lot sooner.

Speaking of Amy, this week’s episode focuses on her and Sheldon’s budding married life, and how things can get complicated real quick. A preview for tonight’s episode shows that a good intention on Sheldon’s part may not end up being so good for Amy, or her career.

"When Amy doesn’t have time to work on super-asymmetry, Sheldon goes to great lengths to ensure she’s available to work with him even it if means accidentally sabotaging her career in the process. Also, Koothrappali doesn’t want Wolowitz to join him in hosting a show at the planetarium."

Along with Sheldon and Amy’s troubles, Koothrappali and Wolowitz seem to be having some issues of their own. But per usual on this show, we’re sure these two quirky BFFs will figure things out.
