It’s the battle of the baby photo shoots as Dinah and Glenn both stage some elaborate maternity pictures on Superstore.

Baby fever is contagious, people. Not only is Amy currently pregnant with her ex’s child while hooking up with her co-worker, Jonah, Dinah’s also due to pop any minute now. Pregnancy and child-bearing are both rife with humor, so of course Superstore is making the most of its characters’ knocked-up status.

On tonight’s episode, “Baby Shower,” Jonah devises some clever ways to help Amy prepare for the birth of her baby while Dinah stages an eye-brow raising maternity shoot after Glenn shares his own birth announcement photos with the crew at Cloud 9.

Dinah’s been milking this pregnancy thing for a while now, but we have to remember she’s doing Glenn and his wife a solid by agreeing to carry their child. It’s only fair she gets to dress up in skimpy costumes and pretend to be a pregnant Mrs. Claus at some point.

Of course, Mateo’s in charge of the artistic direction of the shoot, so that may explain the homage to Mother Mary and the angelic costume Dinah sports at one point in tonight’s episode.
