Star Wars Resistance series premiere live stream: Watch online

The two-part series premiere of Star Wars Resistance will debut on Sunday evening, and since we don’t want you to miss out on this high flying adventure, here’s how to watch it.

Resistance is the next animated series from Disney and Lucasfilm. Its predecessor, Star Wars Rebels, ended back in March and we still can’t get over some of the mind-blowing plot lines that developed in the second half of the final season.

When Star Wars Resistance was announced in April, some of us weren’t too keen on seeing a brand-new show take the spotlight, especially after we had just said goodbye to Star Wars Rebels in an emotional and intense series finale.

Nevertheless, Resistance has shown itself to be a worthy successor, continuing the rich storytelling and captivating visuals that we’ve seen from Lucasfilm Animation in past years. Take a look for yourself with the extended sneak peek of the series below:

Star Wars Resistance promises to be a fun and exciting adventure for fans of all ages, but it also serves as a great introduction to younger fans who are growing up with the sequel trilogy films. For some of them, The Force Awakens and The Last Jedi may be too much in terms of story and action, but Resistance will contain age-appropriate themes as well as a variety of characters who will undoubtedly introduce important life lessons.

Here is the synopsis for the two-part premiere:

"X-wing pilot Kazuda Xiono is recruited for the Resistance, but finds himself in over his head when Poe Dameron assigns him to a remote fueling station to spy on the First Order. Then, after Kaz boasts about being the best pilot around, he is forced to compete in a dangerous sky race."
