Rumors are circulating the internet about a potential title for Avengers 4, but, as of now, they are just guesses.
One big question fans have had about Avengers 4 is what the title will be. Fans have been speculating about the title for months, but Marvel has not released it yet. It’s assumed that the title will be released before the trailer, but maybe Marvel will use the trailer to announce the title. Most fans are guessing that the trailer will give away info about what will happen in the film, so nothing has been confirmed yet.
A few weeks ago the Russo Brothers posted a teaser to their social media where they asked fans to “look harder” at the photo. Some fans have guessed that this cryptic message has something to do with the title. Some have speculated that the film will be called Avengers: Assemble.
According to MCUCosmic.com, a reliable source has said that the title for Avengers 4 will be Avengers: Annihilation. Keep in mind that Jeremy Conrad does not name the source or back up this claim. So, while this might be true, at this point, this is just a rumor. Annihilation wasn’t a comic but was a Marvel event, and since Marvel is known to take names from big events in comics, this would be in line with past choices like Age of Ultron and Infinity War.
It wouldn’t be too surprising if Marvel goes with some sort of sucker punch title for the ending of the Avengers movies. But, we will not know for sure until the title is officially released. If the title is something like this, then more deaths or sacrifices might be in store. Many fans are expecting at least one major Avenger, likely Steve or Tony, to die in this film.
We hope that Marvel will release the title already as Avengers 4 is only 7 months away!
