It’s time to return to Grey Sloan Memorial for doctors, diagnoses and of course, drama.

Grey‘s Anatomy ended on a bittersweet note in season 14, with Alex and Jo’s chaotic but ultimately blissful wedding ultimately being officiated by Meredith Grey. We said goodbye to two major characters, Arizona Robbins and April Kepner.

We also learned a major bombshell — Teddy returned to Seattle from Germany and revealed to the patient of that finale episode that she’s expecting. We’re going to bet some hard Shonda Rhimes’ money that the child is a result of Owen’s trip to see her a few weeks ago, hoping that she’d take him back.

It’s unlikely to be anyone else, because why would she come all the way back to Grey Sloan and take on the interim Chief of Surgery position?

ABC is gifting us with a two-hour premiere on Thursday, with the first episode titled “With a Wonder and a Wild Desire.” The synopsis details a new position opening at Grey Sloan Memorial and Meredith learning a “big secret” (likely Teddy’s expectant news).

As for the second hour of Grey’s Anatomy‘s season 15 premiere, we’re going to meet new faces at Grey Sloan.

"In the second hour, new doctors continue to shake up the hospital in typical Grey Sloan manner. Meredith bonds with a patient while Jackson struggles with the meaning behind recent experiences; and after making a life-changing decision, Jo forms an unexpected alliance."

New faces likely means new and hunky doctors. With the show entering its fifteenth season, and having lost two iconic characters, Arizona and April, we hope these new doctors can rejuvenate storylines. As always, we’re sure a few will find their way to the on-call room…
