American Horror Story Apocalypse preview: All Hallow’s Eve at Outpost Three

The third episode “Forbidden Fruit” looks to be the creepiest episode yet as the characters celebrate All Hallow’s Eve.

Last week’s storyline on American Horror Story was relatively slow in pace and not a lot happened as far as plot is concerned. The episode ended on a cliffhanger with Mr. Gallant seemingly killing his grandmother, Evie. But of course, more questions have come up than answers about how this season will connect the dots between Murder House and Coven.

While a synopsis for the episode hasn’t been released yet, FX did release the teaser for “Forbidden Fruit.” The title alone for the episode calls to mind biblical imagery, but we can assure you there’ll be more unholy than holy aspects this week.

In this preview, we learn that it is All Hallow’s Eve in Outpost Three. We don’t think this fact bodes well for the people there.

The trailer is full of snake imagery and includes a Michael Langdon voiceover talking about the old world and the rules people lived under including “thou shalt not kill.” Ms. Venerable also tells the tenants of Outpost Three that they should “savor this night as if it were their last.” We are betting that at least a couple characters won’t last through the whole episode.

With this being the third episode, many fans are hoping to see more familiar faces from previous seasons. Compared to past seasons, Apocalypse hasn’t been as creepy, which is surprising given that it is all about the world ending.

AHS is always full of surprises, however, so we’ll just have to wait and see what is in store for the rest of this season.
